Yahoo! News - Pope Worries About 'Soulless' U.S. Life

Yahoo! News - Pope Worries About 'Soulless' U.S. Life

I am not a christian man, but even a Jewish man, can understand how valid what he is saying.

Simply the media, ACLU and the Liberals are all for destroying religion, so that they can stay in power and over-ride any possible moral force in our country.

I agree the church has had a lot of problems, but going away from religion is not the answer.

My unfavorate former-governor Jesse Ventura once said, "Organized religion is a crutch for weak-minded fools". And has he acted in a moral fashion? No.

If you don't want to be a religous person, fine, then lead by example the life of a moral man or woman without religion. I do believe it is possible, but is it necessary?

Okay, I know religion has it's problems, but we need to focus on the good things and how to improve religion.

The key benefit of religion is:

1. A central standard of rules to hold people to a higher moral standard of behavior and actions.
2. A unifying force to help us stand against horrible events or evil peoples
3. A healing, enlightening way to help us heal ourselves and our friends and neighbors
4. A way to how we treat others.

I am not here to shove a specific religion down your throat, but how many religious-bashing people have acted in a moral fashion?

It's more of a communistic method to attack our strengths. Sure there are problems, but do we avoid dealing with them or get stronger by facing the harsh truth, and then learning and moving on from there.

We are a free nation, but we are also supposed to be a moral one.

That we know what is right and wrong.

That when it comes between choosing the easy thing or the hard thing, we always focus on doing the right thing!

God Bless America!

What moral idiots, don't they realize the damage they do to our country?

I bet it doesn't even make a million.

This story always hits my soul. How sad it is, that we do not value those who fight for us.

And how we tend to refuse to fight for ourselves.

Oh I how wish to bring back the days of the American Revolution, everyone had a musket in their arms.

Those were the days where government by the people also meant, army of the people, by the people for the people.

You fought or you weren't free.

Oh Let us ring the Philadelphia Bell of Freedom, and let Freedom Ring!

God Bless You, Pat Tillman, you reminded us what character and honor were really about!

Are these all just moral idiots, who do not understand the real harm to me, and the nation they do?

How ignorant are the musicians/people who created this horrible cd!

Do The Right Thing

Do The Right Thing

This is a profoundly beautiful speech, I am rather proud and unproud of it.

Face it people we have a serious degeneration of our ethics and morality here, in our country, has been going on for the last 20-30 years.

With Abortion, Civil Rights, Gay Marriage, Pornography, FileSharing, Liberal Traitors.

We have grown to become quite immoral, accepting things that people in the 1950's would have been shocked at.

Are we the kind of people that, the soldiers in World War I or II would have fought for?

Rome is Burning, and we can either try to fight the fires, or kill Nero.

Well you know where the Liberal Democrats are, it's all about hating President George W. Bush.

I am saying it's okay to disagree with policies and so forth, think what you want of him, in private. But in public our Elected Officials should support our President and Government especially in a time of war.

Instead of acting with honor, they're trying desperately to pretend this is Vietnam War, and that they are just trying to protest the War.

They are completely deluded, past the look of insanity, right into denial of reality.

President George W. Bush has done quite an honorable job, after being screwed over with all our former allies, the biased media and the Liberal Democrats.

Face it, our traitors would rather hand America over to Europe or the United Nations, then Do the Right Thing!

And I am almost at the point of wanting to declare Civil War, and wanting to attack these traitors in our midst.

I don't think we can afford to allow them their insanity in the public eye anymore!

FOXNews.com - Top Stories - Town to Stop Marrying Out-of-State Gay Couples

FOXNews.com - Top Stories - Town to Stop Marrying Out-of-State Gay Couples

Seriously this is one of the biggest threats to our country and world.

Simply for us to continue to exist and we need to promote families and family values.

I am not going to go out and stop gay people from being gay, but that niceness of mine is not going to allow you to get away with Gay Marriages.

I have friends who are gay, and I don't tend to respect them as much because of that.

Simply said, Homosexuality/Lesbianism is a sexual/social deviancy.

Why do you think Noah built his ark?

Because all those of his generation were into all kinds of perversions such as Homosexuality/Lesbianism.

I am sure there are plenty of nice and moral people who happen to be Gay.

However Gayness itself is immoral, and deviant.

I can live with you being Gay, but you are a social/sexual deviancy and such, SHOULD NEVER BE EQUATED AS A HEALTHY OR NORMAL RELATIONSHIP!!!

Understand the difference, I am not here to discriminate against you, I am telling you because of YOUR CHOICE TO BE A DEVIANT, that you do not have the same choices as those who would leave a more moral life.

Which is why you are such staunt Liberal Democrat Voters, because Liberals by their actions/inactions encourage any moral deviancy, that forces you to become more dependent on them/the government for handouts/entitlements, or that special feeling, hey I'm a victim!

Gay People, you are not victims!

You are the victimizer!!!

You are encouraging by your very public existance of huge moral deviancy!

In kids, minors and teenagers.

It's not healthy, of course I know it's not an easy life, and not even us of the straight life have easy finding solid relationships or mates.

But it's time to accept the responsibility of your choice.

If you want to be Gay, then you can not be allowed to propogate!

It's like being a mass murderer, do you really want to have more children out there of Charles Manson?

I am deadly serious on this.

This is the issue that Dr. Laura got so picked on, and all she had said was that being Gay was an immoral choice.

She wasn't in ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM being discriminatory.

Be well, and I wish the best for all of you!

Daley says Kerry went too far with joke about president's fall

Daley says Kerry went too far with joke about president's fall

I agree, although i honestly admit it can easily get ugly from either side, myself included.

I am more than willing to go to a more honorable and professional manner.

Let's argue and discuss facts, then indicate this is my opinion of this fact.

But then again, I am not sure Liberal Democrats can talk in any honest fashion, without being a massive liar all the time.

I do not claim to be Honest Abe myself, but you are just not known for your honesty.

Please prove me wrong, I'll be more than happy to.

The Day After Tomorrow: Liberal utopia

The Day After Tomorrow: Liberal utopia

This is a fascinating movie review, now I personally loved ID4, because it showed a strong president, and the common man who strove together to fight the aliens.

But now it's all about creating a crappy disaster movie which is all about liberal politics.

It's the liberal unstated goal.

Make every citizen feel like it is horrible unless they are under the blankets of governments welfare, mind controlling zombiness.

Vote for Democrats, ignore the facts, Power to the people as long as the people are dumb and keep paying more taxes, to pay for the Rich Democrats!

I saw the trailer when I saw the movie Troy.

I sort of liked Troy, but I like movies that are based on historical fact to stick to the historical facts. Because its' the historical facts that made those stories so great through out our time.

I am not going to see The Day After Tomorrow.

I'd rather dream of a better world, as like Martin King says it.

Or imagine in my mind the poem on the Statue of Liberty:

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name Mother of Exiles.
From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!"” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

FOXNews.com - You Decide 2004 - Kerry Taps Into Anxiety Over Rising Gas Prices

FOXNews.com - You Decide 2004 - Kerry Taps Into Anxiety Over Rising Gas Prices

John Kerry should be anxious, because he may be found out as one of those that helped to create this crisis.

Oh my, tigers, lions and bears, oh my.

There's three things we need to do, anything other than these is at most a complete waste of time, money and insanity.

1. Deregulate Gasoline, do not force gasoline into all these unnecessary flavors. That will allow more quantity to come thru.
2. Drill for Oil in Alaska, so that we have a backup plan, in case OPEC decides to screw us over. Pardon my language.
3. Build more refineries, we've been so PRO-EPA, and so ANTI-BUSINESS that it was just not profitable to build refineries, and here we are paying the cost.

When we make decisions that affect our environment and economy, we must consider what the real, possible, and dangerous consequences of those decisions.

Which gets down to the real problem with Liberal Democrats, I honestly believe that the regular democrat, has great intentions, and wants America to be Great.

However, they are delusional in terms of what actions, votes, decisions that have to be made to get there.

Now here's the problem, the current model of Republican is nothing like what the Republican of the last 20-30 years.

We're not about the Christian Right, we're about morality, responsibility and economics.

1. Morality, because even though religion has it's problems it's always better than secularism or atheism, only because it teaches a moral compass, and helps us understand that there is a Right and Wrong.

2. Responsibility, as a man or woman we have responsibilities, to ourselves, to our parents, to our children, to our relatives, to our neighborhood and to our cities and countries.

But for so long we have lost that sense that we owe something, and have become the ME Generation. Well that's gone, it's not healthy, and no had a good life in the end.

Because even though being a good Man or Woman is a struggle, it is still a better path, than merely seeking pleasure, greed or any other sin, that leads us to unhealthy, unfulfilling lives.

We have a responsibility to each other from the day we are born to the day we die.

I'll talk more about this in another post.

3. Economics, because behind all the code-words and double-talk, economics really equals survival. In the caveman days, we could grow, hunt or barter for food or shelter.

But that's not where we are now, to earn survival, you must earn money.

So what is the role of Government in the gaining of money or property?

Simple, to get out of the way of the natural and healthy process of people working hard, and collecting the reward, recognition and benefit of that hard work.

Now if that work is done in an unethical, illegal manner than of course it should be stopped.

Now that does not mean that as a citizen, that they do not have responsibilties to their neighbor, city, or federal government.

But remember each company or corporation is merely a legal fiction disguising the people that operate or work for a company or corporation.

Of course there are those bad apples out there, but that does not describe all of them as being illegal, immoral or unethical.

Businesses must be allowed to grow, let us stop the worrying about:

Oh this company has too much money, or too much market share, or too much this or that. A very common complaint against businesses.

Who effing cares? As long as they earned it, by working hard to provide products or services to customers, they have every right to keep the dimes they earned!

That's all for now, keep reading!

CBS and 60 Minutes Modern Benedict Arnolds

CBS and 60 Minutes Modern Benedict Arnolds

Finally, someone with guts, integrity and a shred of decency!

I may not be a Pat Boone fan, but I am glad that anyone from Idiotic Hollywood is finally speaking up.

This whole story is posted here http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2004/5/24/132813.shtml

But I can not resist posting the whole article here:

Recently, entertainer Pat Boone wrote NewsMax editor Christopher Ruddy a letter regarding his feelings on Abu Ghraib and Iraq, the contents of which are published here with permission:

Mr. Christopher Ruddy
Editor, NewsMax
Dear Chris,

Hasn't anybody got the guts to accuse the worst perpetrator in this whole Abu Ghraib prison debacle - CBS and 60 Minutes II?

What do you call it when, in time of war, someone takes military intelligence and turns it over to the enemy, who in turn uses it to kill Americans?

Isn't that the definition of treason? Did Benedict Arnold do worse? Did Julias and Ethel Rosenberg pay with their lives for something like this?

It has already been well established, and CBS certainly knew, that the military announced to the press back in January that allegations had been made concerning treatment of prisoners and were being investigated.

In March there was another announcement that the allegations were still being investigated and certain service personnel at Abu Ghraib were relieved of their duties and might be court marshaled.

In other words, while America was fighting a war, the military had already taken the allegations seriously, were investigating them and were taking steps to correct the situation. In other words, it was being handled, and handled well.

These things happen in war on all sides, and though they are not excusable, they are kindergarten exercises compared to car bombs, ambushes, rocket launchings and dangling burning bodies over bridges - and this is what the interrogators at Abu Ghraib were trying to find ways to stop.

Freedom of the press is precious to us, but you can abuse any liberty and stretch it out of shape until it becomes license, and concerned citizens will call for limitations.

In this case, if CBS had really cared about the country, about our military, about doing the right thing, they would have taken these pictures, (which they had illegally) and asked the military and the Pentagon what was being done about the abuses (Although they most likely knew it, they would have been told that the matter was in hand and being taken care of).

Indeed, a general implored them not to publish the pictures because of what he knew would happen as a result.

CBS could have cared less.

In their mad competition for rating points, dollars, and seeing a great way to blast the President and the war effort in Iraq which they have continually denigrated and opposed, they broadcast they abhorrent pictures – and not just to the United States, BUT TO THE WORLD!

Knowing full well that we were walking a tight rope, trying to fight a war, quell disturbances and build a republic for Iraq in the midst of all the terrorist resistance, CBS published these abhorrent pictures knowing they would destroy completely our image and standing in the Muslim world.

And what about Osama bin Laden? What about the terrorists? What about America's image with all our allies around the world? And what about America's own self image and confidence in their leaders?

And what did the beheaders of Nick Berg say, just before they callously sawed his head off while he screamed, "This is in retaliation for what you Americans did to our people at Abu Ghraib!" And how did they know about these interrogation abuses?

Though poor Mr. Berg blames George Bush and Donald Rumsefld, it is incontrovertible that his son would be home with him right now had it not been for the publication of those pictures. Mr. Berg is pointing his finger in the wrong direction.

And as a direct result of CBS callous and patently unpatriotic action, America is suffering great loss of prestige around the world, and will for decades.

America has lost credibility with Muslims and the Arab world internationally, perhaps forever; and every American life is in far greater danger from terrorist reprisal, no matter who and where we are!

Freedom of the press is a cherished commodity, guaranteed by our Constitution. But freedoms, if they are to be maintained and to have the original meaning, must be treated with grave responsibility and restraint.

For me, CBS has become "the enemy within", and I hope never to watch the network again. I think most Americans ought to reflect on the results of their irresponsible and unpatriotic behavior and perhaps narrow their viewing options by one network. The next time America or Americans suffer at the hands of terrorists, thank CBS.

P.S. As of today, May 21St, you can add Brokaw, NBC and The Washington Post to the list. Have these media pariahs gone mad?! Who'll be next to fire at our own troops?

FOXNews.com - Foxlife - Zinni, Clancy Team Up for Iraq War Criticism

Okay, I understand that this is SUCH A GREAT OPPORTUNITY, to become a hot commodity, by going against the war.

After all, popularity is so much important, than whether we win the war against Iraq right?

How did we get so idiotic???

This is not about a war for Iraq, the war is fought there, to prevent the war from happening hear?

And even if we win the war there, do we assume the War against Terrorism will be over?

No way, not in reality.

We must learn to face reality, people, the jihadists and other evil people would love to kill and destroy every last one of us!

Get that through your thick skull, all you are really doing is showing that you would rather die, then do the right thing to protect yourself, your family and your country.

Let's face reality, re-unify as one nation, and kick butt!

That's all that needs to be said!

Gore's Elk Hills/Occidental Oil Scandal: Bigger Than Teapot Dome?

Gore's Elk Hills/Occidental Oil Scandal: Bigger Than Teapot Dome?

Vice President Al Gore endorsed the sale of a government oil field in 1998, the largest sale of federal property in the history of the U.S. government.
The Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Reserve, located near Bakersfield, California, was established in 1912 to help fuel Navy ships. President Clinton proposed the sale in 1995 saying the oil field no longer served a military purpose!

The DOE (Energy Department) received a total of 22 bona fide offers but decided to sell this "crown jewel" of oil and gas fields to Occidental Petroleum Corp. By selling off this resource the Clinton/Gore team eliminated the U.S. Navy's primary source of emergency crude oil. They argued that this field "no longer serves a national security purpose."

"We view this asset as becoming the crown jewel of our domestic operations," said Occidental Oil and Gas C.E.O. David Hentschel.

Couching this questionable attack on our National Security in conservative jargon, Patricia Godley, DOE's Assistant Secretary for Fossil Energy, claimed the sale was part of Al Gore's efforts to "reduce the size of government" and "return inherently non-federal functions to the private sector." The largest federal divestiture was also said to help "pay off the national debt."

The sale of this government oil field to Occidental Petroleum may have directly benefited Al Gore through his ownership of Occidental stock. While his aides denied Gore encouraged this sale, his booklet "Reinventing Government" called on the government to sell these precious oil reserves. Gore wrote "...Elk Hills Naval Petroleum Reserves... no longer serves its original strategic purpose for the Navy."

Gore called for the sale of this prime contingency source of fuel for the Navy, calling it "Common Sense Government." In an emergency, where will our Navy get its fuel? From Iraq?

The same Al Gore witnessed the loss, theft or sale of the crown jewels of our nuclear war know-how from Los Alamos National Laboratory. Whether these events are interconnected we do not know. That our national security has been seriously damaged is a certainty.
